Sardar Ka Grandson Movie focuses on a Punjabi grandmother (Sardar) played by Neena Gupta who wishes to visit her home in Lahore and how a grandson, Amreek (Arjun Kapoor) makes her wish come true by bringing the home – Yes, it’s not Home Coming, the Home is Coming!
The movie is directed by Kaashvie Nair and is based on emotions but yet fails to deliver what is expected. Flat expressions by Arjun Kapoor are not at all overwhelming. Although, the story line of the movie is good, but poor delivery is seen. Every moment in Sardar Ka Grandson is accentuated with a heavy-handed background score, telling you exactly what to feel.
The only good thing about the movie is Neena gupta and her acting skills. But alas, she alone would not be able to save this drowning ship, oops Home!
