Starring #KritiSanon #PankajTripathi , Sai Tamhankar, Manoj Pahwa and Supriya Pathak in major roles, the film focusses on the topic of surrogacy and is a remake of the 2011 Marathi film MALA AAI VYACHYA! The film is availble on Jio Cinema and Netflix.
The storyline of Mimi revolves around surrogacy and motherhood yet convincingly manages to add humor when required. Emotional balance is also well maintained. Some parts of the movie though appear a little dragged but overall a good watch after a long time in bollywood.
Performances by Pankaj tripati and Kriti Sanon are power packed. Other casts of the movie are also appropriately placed with good dialogues and screen presence. All of this with a wonderful social message in the climax. The music of the movie is not extraordinary but manages with the movie flow.
Overall you will laugh, cry,smile and enjoy the movie. I recommend everyone to watch Mimi.
