A Story That Touches the Heart
Tanvi The Great is not just another drama—it’s a deeply emotional journey about resilience, acceptance, and dreams. The film revolves around Tanvi Raina (Shubhangi Dutt), a 22-year-old autistic girl and daughter of late Army Captain Samar Raina (Karan Tacker). When her mother Vidya (Pallavi Joshi) has to travel abroad, Tanvi moves in with her grandfather, Col. Pratap Raina (Anupam Kher), in Lansdowne.
At first, Col. Pratap struggles to understand his granddaughter, but over time, the bond between them blossoms beautifully. Tanvi’s extraordinary gift for music soon earns her the admiration of her teacher Raza Saab (Boman Irani) and the warmth of Brigadier Joshi (Jackie Shroff). However, her journey takes an unexpected turn when she discovers her late father’s unfulfilled dream of hoisting the Indian flag at Siachen. Determined to honor him, Tanvi sets her sights on joining the Indian Army—despite her challenges and societal barriers.
