Dipankar Ghosh is a columnist, story writer of South Assam. By profession he is an officer in a public sector undertaking. Since last one decade he is continuously writing articles, short stories in national and international newspapers. Though his area of interest is contemporary social and political issues but writes amazing short stories that have morals and messages. So far he has written innumerable articles for national and international newspapers which have been recognised as treasure-trove to enlightened readers. His most acclaimed book ‘Adwitiya Bimolangshu- Kaler Canvase’ ( BJP’s Rise in Assam and Some Snippets From the Pages of Time) is a combination of biography and history.This voluminous book was first released in 2019 by Dr. Ram Madhav and Dr. Rajdeep Roy MP (LS) who is also the elder son of the central character of the book. Considering the growing demand of the book the second edition was released by B.R.Foundation in 2020. Now the book is being translated in Assamese language also. Despite writing books at present the author is associated with three news papers as columnist. This year the author is going to publish another two books the printing process of which are in progress.
