Param (Sidharth Malhotra), a spoilt Delhi boy with big ambitions, decides to invest in a soulmate-matching app created by Shekhar (Abhishek Banerjee). But his father (Sanjay Kapoor) will only back the project if the app successfully finds Param’s match. To his surprise, it pairs him with Sundari (Janhvi Kapoor), who runs a homestay in Kerala.
What begins as a scheme to win his father’s approval soon turns into genuine love, as Param falls for Sundari. But secrets, cultural differences, and the sudden disappearance of the app’s creator complicate matters, leaving Param torn between honesty and ambition.

Written by Gaurav Mishra, Aarsh Vora, and Tushar Jalota, the script offers fun and charm in its Kerala segments—especially Sundari’s introduction, Param’s comical adjustment to local life, and quirky set pieces like the “parantha scene.” However, the second half dips into clichés, stretching the narrative with predictable tropes like backstories, misunderstandings, and an airport sequence.
Though some cultural touches add freshness, routine rom-com elements reduce its impact. At 136 minutes, the film feels longer than necessary and could have benefited from tighter editing.

Janhvi Kapoor delivers a delightful performance as Sundari, bringing sincerity and warmth to the role. Sidharth Malhotra looks his best and shares easy chemistry with her, though he sometimes slips into SRK-inspired mannerisms. Manjot Singh stands out as Param’s loyal friend, while Renji Panicker impresses as Sundari’s father. Inayat Verma, as Sundari’s younger sister, adds charm.
On the downside, Sanjay Kapoor feels miscast as Param’s father, weakening some key emotional moments.

Sachin-Jigar’s music is pleasant but not particularly memorable. Pardesiya and Chand Kaagaz stand out with Amitabh Bhattacharya’s lyrics leaving a mark.
