Bhubanesh Baisakha is currently an independently practiced professional psychologist who comes from a middle class family, living at cuttack, a small town of state of Odisha. From childhood, he was always very fond of writing poems and short stories. But not until when he was persuing his Masters in psychology from Banaras Hindu University, he never thought writing could be more than just a hobby. He began to take his love affair with words seriously. Every evening, after the completion of classes he would visit ghats of Banaras, would sit there, would have a lemon tea and would start writing poems & his Novel. He would wander in galis of Banaras, would talk to different people, would have chai & samosa with them to know them & to understand their stories. The Author always believed that, India is a land of stories and everyone has a story to tell. The Author feels that, empathy is the base to be a good writer. On asked, what is the difference between a good writer and a great writer the author said, A good writer paints his own brutal truth with words but a great writer could paint the brutal truth of the world around him. The Author is also very fascinated by, Urdu & Hindi poets. But the one book that inspired him to start his professional writing career is, The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini . As a professional psychologist, the author provides, Comprehensive sessions of guidance and counselling with the motto of, accepting the past, working on the present and believing in future. The Author currently working on a new guidance program on how one can magnify and strengthen the true love instincts within the self to understand their own as well as others emotions better, which would lead to better communications and would eventually help them to get involved in healthier relationships.
